Here’s what to expect from this episode on authentic storytelling:

Be your authentic self and nobody will question you…easier said than done, right? Well for Marianna Correa, founder of Latinx MKTG, guiding her clients to find their true story that they can share on social media to stand out amongst the masses is her calling.

During a time when Reels were popping and it was all about trending audio, trending dances, and copying with a tiny bit of your own flair was all the rage on Instagram, Marianna and I dive into how that could not be further from the truth if you really want to be seeing results from your social media.

Marianna shares her journey of social media management and how the pandemic really shifted not only her mindset but other Latinx community members to market their businesses through authentic storytelling. Speaking with their own voice, embracing their triumphs, and most important of all sharing that with their wider community were the biggest factors in standing out to their audience. But how do you do this without jeopardizing your boundaries? What do you choose to share and what should you keep to yourself? This is exactly what Marianna touches on in this episode.

Meet Marianna:

Marianna, who goes by Mari, is a marketing guru born in Long Beach, CA, and raised in the South Bay.  Marianna is the founder of Latinx MKTG a social media agency for creators, entrepreneurs, and anyone looking to create an online presence on social media. She has studied marketing for 8 years receiving her B.B.S Business Admin Concentrated in Marketing & M.S Marketing Analytics, along with other certifications from UCLA.

Latinx MKTG was created to take care of your Instagram  & TikTok marketing needs—or teach you how to DIY it—so you can pull up a comfy seat, sip on your cafecito (or a michelada, cuz you’re the boss), and watch the results roll in. Outside of work, Mari enjoys a good adventure, whether that be local or international. You can never stop Mari from exploring the world.
